On August 2, 2025, we lost our mom, Renee, after her courageous battle with cervical cancer that spread to her spine and brain. She went through a full treatment of chemo and radiation, but chose not to endure more - her wish was to live fully, naturally, and on her own terms.

Renee was more than just our mom, she was part of Chandlr. Through her Moonlit Weaves creations, she poured love into handmade woven blankets, stuffed animals for kids, and even her famous “emotional support pickles.” She was adventurous, fun, and always willing to try something new. Before retiring and moving to Texas two years ago, she spent her life’s work in New York serving individuals with special needs—a legacy of compassion that inspired everyone around her.
